Focuses on the critical evaluation of research results through a consideration of appropriate statistical sampling, design, testing and overall analysis. Employs electronic textbook with interactive quizzing and immediate feedback capability. Attempts to avoid the qualitative/quantitative methodology dichotomy.
Main course topics include various traditions and foundations of research, sampling, measurement, design, analysis (descriptive and inferential statistics), and the critical interpretation of literature and design of research.
