  • Open "My Computer"
    • Start—› My Computer

     

  • Open the Map Network Drive Dialog Box
    • Tools—› Map Network Drive

     

  • Set the Folder
    • Folder: \\disk4.lib.utexas.edu\dar\ischool\385r
    • CONNECT USING A DIFFERENT USER NAME
    • User name: Austin\[your eid]
    • Password: [your eid password]
    • Choose OK

  • Click Finish
  •  

  • The network array should appear as a drive in your My Computer explorer window

Directory and file naming conventions:

File names have been assigned.

Top level directories are assigned by project.

Within each project, create a directory with your eid as a name.

Place all files you create for that project within that directory.

You will have a separate eid directory within each of the project directories.
