This three semester credit hour course is for students who have previously taken courses related to digital libraries. These courses include: INF 385R Survey of Digitization, INF 392L Introduction to Audio Preservation and Reformatting, INF 385S Digital Libraries, INF 385T Digital Media Collections.

  • Analyze and evaluate research literature focused on digital libraries
  • Identify and critique scholarly digital library research publications.
  • Understand the components of a scholarly paper.
  • Conduct a thorough literature review in support of some aspect of digital library research.
  • Collaborate with an iSchool faculty member on the writing of a publishable quality article or conference paper about some area of digital libraries.
